The year 2020 has come to an end, bringing with it the bright blaze and heat that only a dumpster fire can. December brought our shortest, coldest days here in the cold embrace of the San Francisco Bay; we have been away from the warmth of those we care about as we isolate ourselves to keep each other safe. Time has dragged on for the Menagerie… we patiently wait for good sunlight and good news to emerge, feeling the flutter of creativity and the sort of joy that may only happen through art trapped within us yet unable to emerge from it’s winter chrysalis.

And yet, that need to create only grows and persists until it can emerge in spite of its circumstances.

On the night of January 23rd, 2021, we cannot help but let our our spill forth into your living room through a show that has found a way to persist. Through a live-streamed journey led by your songstress emcee Dorian Dietrich from her own home (with some cameos asJoanna Animal and Errol Skynn assist remotely from Little Boxes Theater!), we will reflect upon the past days, months, years that have dragged us on. We invite you to pour yourself a hot cocoa, wrap up in your warmest blankets, and join us.
